Billing and Payment

There are mainly two methods provided for NTTA customers to make their payment for traveling on toll roads-Toll Tags and ZipCash.

It can be called the best way to travel on North Texas toll roads as the Toll Tag customers pay the tolls at a lower rate than that of the ZipCash customers (50 percent less than the ZipCash customers’ toll payment). There is a separate Tollmate mobile app introduced for the TollTag customers to avail of various services. If there are any changes to the vehicle, license plate, or credit/debit card information, the TollTag customers must make necessary alterations in their TollTag account for accurate billing. Only then can they avoid receiving ZIpCash invoices. 

Based on the toll road usage, the ZipCash customers receive invoices for their tolls, and these are mailed to the vehicle’s registered owner. The ZipCash invoices shall be paid by the customer, and a variety of modes of payment are being provided to the customers-online payment, by mail, phone, in person at the NTTA Toll Tag store, etc.

Toll Tag

There is a 24-hour online Toll Tag Store on which a person can make an application to get Toll Tag. Or, a Toll Tag Store in Plano, Irving, or Fort Worth or a retail outlet can be visited in person and get the application filled so that he/she can obtain the Toll Tag at the same time. 

A Toll Tag customer must keep a positive account balance, and he can check the balance anytime through the free Tollmate mobile app or online. 

There are several benefits for customers of Toll Tag. They are:

The customers of Toll Tag pay around 50 percent less toll than that customers without Toll Tag. They can earn rewards and prizes in the process. Access to the online account is easy so that the customer can check the balance, update information, etc. There are no bills and administrative fees. Automatic payment systemThere is no additional charge for a single account for up to three Toll Tags.

Customer Appointments

NTTA provides an online customer service appointment reservation system. For this reservation, the customer needs to select the service which he is seeking for assistance and then give a day and time when he requires such a service, and in furtherance, he shall provide necessary information on the service. Then the appointment gets placed, and later, the customer will receive an email confirming his appointment. 

The customer can receive all the updates regarding the latest projects, constructions, and events from the e-newsletter. There will be project updates in the weekly e-newsletters and Corridor Progress Reports that give monthly summaries about major projects.
